Mixing Ram Brands

I am currently upgrading to all new parts and 32 gb of ram and my friend only has 8 gigs of corsair vengeance lpx ddr4-2400. I want to give her my 2x4 Crucial Ballstix Sport sticks that are ddr4-2400 aswell they have identical specs except the corsair latency is 15 and ballstix is 16 would this combination still be able to work?

Give it a try, this is the only way to find out. Maybe you will have to manually configure the timings. ie disable xmp and rearrange timings/change the CAS to 16 for the Corsair

Well it's her ram and she lives 8 hours away so I can't really try those two specific ones together

Well my new specs don't relate to those two combinations though it won't be using them,
