Im going to buy a MSI H55M-E33 mATX motherboard and seeing on the compatibility list in MSI, it's of course not updated but so far only for win7, but if any of you know if it supports Windows 10 or even god forsaken windows 8 I would be very happy to know.

First and foremost, officially you don't have support for Windows 10 nor do you have support for Windows 8/8.1. The highest OS you can go for is Windows 7. The last BIOS update is also dated at 2011. Windows 8 and above rely heavily on BIOS updates to maintain optimum performance.

Unofficially you can install Windows 10 onto your system though how it's going to behave with your components+drivers is totally up in the air.

Short answer is if you have time to troubleshoot then you can try working with Windows 10 otherwise don't try it.

There shouldn't be problem with installing win 8.1/10 on this board, but drivers would be problem as intel did not update their 5 chipset drivers so maximum is win 7 there. You can try install windows 10 and see what would need drivers and look those up, but on so old board it could be problem and you will be stuck with universal drivers if any.

As long as it's able to keep usb, and audio drivers I'm fine with that
