Got a rig, that doesnt perform aswell as I would like it to do, hoping that you guys can give me some tips here. As far as I see, I should upgrade my CPU and maybe cooling? Anyways, tips and pointers much appreciated, thanks :)

You need to specify what games you're playing, and what res, settings, and FPS you expect to get.

I can tell you for sure though that your CPU is not the only problem. Your GPU is pretty weak too, barely more than a GTX 950 can do, and on top of it you picked the slowest frequency RAM. You can get Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB 3200 at same CAS for just $27 more, and that MB will use them at 3200 without an OC by just setting it to XMP.

It's always a better idea to save a bit longer until you can afford better parts, because it gets really expensive trading out parts a year or two later. The only exception is if you can sell your used parts for a reasonable amount, but the CPU and GPU you have are not too attractive to gamers come time...

Well atm Im replaying The Witcher 3 on high setting, but I also have a pretty big monitor, so that might be a problem aswell?
But Id like to play most new games on a high as possible setting with as much fps as possible, without lag.. Not demanding at all :p
The thing is, as Im a bit green on building computers, I got help from someone I thought knew more about the subject, but after trying to tweak a little bit I found out it wasnt built very well..
But aside from the Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB 3200, what would you recommend me changing first of all? And for what?

Thank you for the answer :)

It's not the size of the monitor, but the resolution that counts. 1080p is what I assume it's native res is?

I can't really recommend any parts that amount to more than small expenditures unless you tell me what your max budget is.

The good news is your MB isn't bad. It's just too bad you picked such low frequency RAM.

here are my specs
xeon W3565 3.2ghz quad core cpu boss says your cpu is a bit better
16gigs ddr3 ram
xfx RX470
1920x1080p monitor and i can play the witcher 3 on max settings as long as i dont turn on hair works i get a constant 60fps so consider upgrading your gpu as your cpu depending on your screen res

also check out this site u can use it to estimate your performance based on the specs you choose http://www.game-debate.com/games/index.php?g_id=3443&game=The%20Witcher%20III#systemCheck
