Hello everybody!
This is my second build, last one lasted me roughly seven sweet years. Anyhow, after several issues getting this thing up and running this time around.. I finally got my PC up and running but it was extremely slow, with this hardware I'd expect a very fast computer. Searching the menu is slow, pulling up applications, I tried running Witcher 3 as a stress test but the menu was so laggy I decided against it.
After browsing these forums I decided to use the windows 10 reset for a fresh install of Windows, removing all files. Since then it's still been quite slow, I've downloaded my video card driver and the device manager says the CPU drivers are up to date.
I'm waiting on some thermal paste to come in before attaching my CPU fan and over clocking. I'm currently updating windows but am not optimistic that will fix it. All the hardware is being recognized. The RAM is seated on the same channel. I have a second larger HDD, do I need to wipe that clean? Doubt that.
Any help would be appreciated!
