OP: Hi! I'd like a cheeseburger with NO ONIONS!
Chugalug_: But onions make the burger taste so much better! Here! Have some onions!

This is essentially what your post says. You don't bother asking why they do not want onions. You just assume that because you think onions make the burger taste better, that everyone should have onions on their burgers!

We're here to answer questions. If someone asks how to make it better, THEN you can suggest adding onions. Until then, just answer the question.

P.S. Why the onion metaphor? My sister hasn't been to McDonald's since her last "No Onions" order sent her to the hospital for a severe (onion) allergic reaction. These are the kinds of things that can happen when people disregard the information given.

Moral of the story: improving a PC list will give people severe allergic reactions, have catastrophic consequences and be potentially fatal; got it. :p
I understood the message earlier, dw.
I'm not here for points or just to give a yes/no answer, i'm here to try to help people as best I can, and I thought that would help best.
I also didn't see the part about not improving it.
