My founder's GTX 1080 (with an EK full cover block) hits an upwards of 70c under load. It is overclocked +200 on memory and core, no voltage tweaks. Is it just me or is this temperature waaaaaay too high? Context is below. Thank you everybody ahead of time.
This is a single CPU and GPU loop.
I managed to cram two 360mm Bitspower Leviathan Slim radiators (16fpi, 30mm thick) into an Enthoo Evolv ATX chassis. All the other parts in this loop are from EKWB, and everything is bare copper. Both radiators have 3 Corsair SP120 Silent Edition (max 1500ish RPM) fans in push configuration which are set to run @ 100% once my CPU hits 45c. Everything in the loop has been vigorously shaken and rinsed with distilled water a couple times before installing. I am using Mayhems Pastel UV green coolant. I also made sure the loop had no air bubbles.
My loop order is: Res->DDC pump -> GPU -> first 360 rad ->CPU -> second 360 rad -> res
I don't see any gunk etc in my GPU waterblock.
Idle temperatures for both my CPU and GPU are in the mid to low 30s (Celsius) as they should be.
I typically play games on a 2560x1440p monitor @ 100hz, and sometimes a large tv (3820x2160p) @60hz.
Ambient room temperature is anywhere from 65-75f (18-24c).
