I have a USB Boot for Ubuntu 16.04.2 64x. I know the USB works fine as it boots on a laptop and runs perfectly.

My problem is, when I run the pc and boot it from the usb, which works fine, and then prompts me to choose "install" or "run from usb" or whatever. I choose run from USB, it goes to next screen - blank - then all 3 of my monitors go into power saving mode like my PC is asleep??

I have never been able to install Ubuntu or any other linux on my desktop PC before, i thought the fact I have reset it would fix it but it didn't.

My PC Specs:
Windows 10 Pro
Intel Core i7-4790K @ 4GHz
16GB RAM
64bit OS
256GB Samsung Evo 850 SSD
4TB Seagate HDD

Ah yes. Forgot that. I have a gtx 970.

I managed to fix it. I had to edit the start parameters and add nomodeset. Worked fine. Noe just to fix the grub2 error. Hahaha. That's for tomorrow I think.
