My Gaming PC that I bought in 2011 restart suddenly when I was playing Skyrim. After a few attempts at restarting there are no display in my monitor, and my keyboard and mouse lose the power (there are no led light came out)

After asking a technician he said that both motherboard and GPU is broken. The Motherboard I used is ASUS P8P67 and GPU is ASUS GTX550Ti. So I want to buy the replacement for both item. I would appreciate if you can provide some recommendation. My PC other component is as below:

PSU - GX550w Bronze
CPU - Intel Core i5-2500
Cooling Fan - Cooler Master V6
Casing - Cooler Master HAF 912 Advanced

I didn't change any component since I bought it in 2011, except upgrading it from Windows 7 to 10.

Solution
I did, indeed, mean from scratch. The only parts that you COULD reuse are the case, fans, and PSU.

The only part that I would actually consider reusing is the case. The fans are nearing the end of their useful life. I wouldn't be surprised to see them lock up in the next few months. The PSU is likely responsible for the motherboard and GPU failing. I wouldn't even consider reusing it. The RAM isn't compatible with modern boards. You'll need to get DDR4.

While I'm sure there's a way to reuse Windows 7, bear in mind that it's not receiving updates for new processors anymore. It's not worth the trouble or performance issues.

Regarding selection of a replacement motherboard, it's not difficult with that socket. There are only three...
Consider getting a new computer. Anytime you change motherboards, you also need a new copy of Windows. Motherboards that old aren't easy to come by anymore, either.

Combine that with the fact that most of that build is rather dated, and it may make more sense to build something new. These days, a faster build would cost around $600.

That said, if you'd rather stick to replacements, here's what you should get:

I included a new PSU because the motherboard and GPU don't go out simultaneously unless there's an issue with the PSU.

Thank you for your reply. When you said building something new do you mean from the scratch? Can't I reuse some component from my current PC like the case, cooling fan, CPU or RAM? (sorry forgot to mention my RAM, I use 2 unit 4gb Kingston ram from 2011). For windows, I still have the original Windows 7 CD. Can I reuse it? (sorry for beginners question, although owning PC for so many years I never actually tweak it)

Also thank you for your recommendation. For motherboard I never know how to select the suitable one
For GPU, before this I actually considering GTX1050Ti for replacement.
