I went with a https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-MAXIMUS-IX-CODE/ ROG MAXIMUS IX CODE (more than $250)




Reason being, all the mobos have similar functionality but the ASUS ROG Maximus IX CODE has SONAR 3 audio which allows you to use your headphones and speakers and HDMI port all SIMULTANEOUSLY for more audio outputs.

So you can have your headphones play music, have your speakers play a movie and have your TV on HDMI play a live stream ALL AT THE SAME TIME, that's amazing!!


Also the CODE comes w ASUS Armor, it's heavy protection and seems sturdy from the pics.


If you're on a budget and looking for a mobo under $250 then go w the ASUS ROG MAXIMUS IX HERO ($225).

Only difference bet the HERO & the CODE are that, the CODE comes w/ WIFI + Bluetooth + ASUS ARMOR, otherwise all features the same.
