hey guys,

I just finished my setup and it seems the ryzen 1700 LED is completely out of sync with the gigabyte b350 gaming 3 LED, they both display different colors on whichever mode they are on (static, pluse...etc)

Can someone help please ?

I have this too on X370 Aorus Gaming 5 and Ryzen 7 1700 as well - there are option to change different rehions of motherboard but not cooler, the cooler changes color automatically with changes for motherboard- based on what only god knows.

You are correct, I checked with motherboards user manual and it was showing that the CPU LED connector must be installed in a certain way - the connector has an arrow on one side and that side must be aligned with the orientation shown in the motherboard. Now all LED s are aligned - but all are blue ( as my case had 3 blue fans in it.

Now I want to set only the CPU LED color to red, but this is not possible. Not possible in BIOS and not in RGB Fusion app.

I have also downloaded and installed LED tool I mentioned, but it did not work - as the cooler was not detected as Wraith Max ( that cooler has another cable for management purposes ).

Looks lik ethis is as good as it gets.

Just finished my first PC build in 15 years - Ryzen 1700 + Gigabyte Gaming 3. Had same problem everyone else reports. Downloaded the Gigabyte App Centre and added the RGB Fusion app. You can adjust RGB from bios but much more control with the app. But I still could not match mobo and cooler colours UNTIL I went into the advanced tab and selected/unselected all LED headers/areas (there are 4) and clicked on some of the default colours. Aligned all colours (inc Ryzen cooler) perfectly except for yellow/orange which still do not quite match. Go into advanced in the desktop app and play around for a while and I am sure you will fix this. I had less success with the basic tab. I recommend you do not swap around the header cable - one of the pins carries 12v power and the others carry signals for Red Green and Blue. At best swapping round will prevent full colour control at worst it may lead to damage at some point.
