So i ran into this problem where the monitor isnt working with the gpu(Windows logo shows after booting then no signal) but works with the motherboard. I also connected the tv to the gpu and it worked fine. No idea why this is happening, any help? All via hdmi cable

Take the gpu out and plug it back in, make sure it is seated right and the cables are plugged in. Go to device manager and make sure your gpu is detected.
You said that a TV worked but your monitor doesn't, both via HDMI. Does your GPU have more than one HDMI port? If not, your monitor's HDMI port may be dead. Try with a DisplayPort or DVi cable. If neither of those work as well, your monitor may be straight up dead overall. Since the TV worked, I doubt it's your GPU or the cable that're bad.
