Error 0xc0000005 Windows 7

Everytime I try to open internet browsers it says "the application is unable to start correctly (0xc0000005)"
Problem started after I transferred files to an external hard disk and I doubt it's coincidence.

I have tried :
*Restoring system

Any suggestions ?

By transfer do you mean Cut, paste or copy, paste? Did you transfer said files out of the Windows folder or C: ? Speaking of C: What version of Windows 7 are you on?

You could try and perform this suggestion however you may need to think about reinstalling Windows 7.

I copy pasted files out of and to the C: drive. Using a Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit.

I tried the hotfix you linked aswell as running a disk check(both C: and D: ) and using programs such as AWC and Malwarebytes.

Problem is still there but thanks for your answer.
