Black screen and 3 to 4 Beep sounds when PC Wakes from Sleep

Hello,

Everytime when my pc boots from Sleep, the black screen appears and 3 or 4 beeps are heard (even some kind of error pop-up msg is heard through the speakers, but obviously i am unable to see what it says)

It does not matter if the pc was in sleep mode for 1 minute or 14 hours, this behavior is always present.

The system runs totally fine and stable by booting pc when it was previously shut down

Current main specs:
- ASRock H97 Pro4 Mobo
- Intel i7 4790
- Nvidia GT 740
- G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 16 GB (DDR 3)
- Kingston HyperX Fury SSD
- Seagate HDD
- Antec EDG 650 W (Edge Series) PSU
- Windows 7 64-bit OS

It's the psu, but not in the way that you think. The Edge is a group regulated design, so has issues with any cpu Haswell or newer. Should be an easy fix. Go into your bios and look for the section regarding sleep/C-states. You'll want to adjust this to make sure the pc does go to c-states below 3. Sometimes this is listed as S-1 or S-3, depending on the bios. The pc will still sleep, it just won't then go into the ultra-low power modes.

I have checked the BIOS and this is the current situation regarding C states:

CPU C States Support -> Auto
Enhanced Halt State (C1E) -> Auto
CPU C3 State Support -> Auto
CPU C6 State Support -> Auto
CPU C7 State Support -> Auto
Package C State Support -> Disabled

So, the only lower than 3 is C1E. Should i then Disable or Enable it ?

Backwards. C-states start at 0, that being awake, 1 us when the monitors turn off and the pc starts thinking of shutdown orders, 3 is asleep, 6 is dead to the world. So what you'd want to do is disable C-6 and C-7. What are the options under CPU C-states support?

What exactly are the beeps? Is it 3 short, 4 short or 1 long 2short or 1 long 3short?

The states under CPU C States Support are "Auto", "Disabled" and "Enabled". It is currently set to "Auto"

The first thing i tried before your re-post was setting the C1E state to "Enabled", set PC to sleep then waked the pc, everything was ok, then tried the same thing 1 minute after, the error appeared again

After setting the C1E and C3 to "Enabled" and C6 and C7 do "Disabled", there aren't any beeps, however the screen is still black and a windows pop-up sound is heard through the speakers :/

Ok. Goto windows / power setting. Look for the advanced button. In that you'll find a listing of several options for usb, sleep etc. Make sure sleep is enabled, but hybrid or hibernation is disabled. You'll also see more c-states settings, make sure there that Windows isn't over-riding the bios, should be set for c-4 or higher disabled.

The first thing i have done, when installed windows, was disabling the Hibernation completely via CMD and in power options to save up some space on my SSD.
Under the "Advanced Power Settings" i am not able to find any C4 state option :/
