CPU temp >72°C,Intel cooler

Even when the cabinet case is open I found that the cpu temp is more than 72C while gaming.Few months old i74790 cpu@stock speed.Msi afterburner monitoring @32-34C room temp.Idle temp when case open is around 45°C

Nothing out of the ordinary. If you're running a budget air cooler or something like that your temps are fine.

Opening the case isn't going to lower it by 10c. Your temps are fine man, I would stop worrying about it.

It's a case rather then a cabinet but as above that's about avarage for the stock cooler
Also in a case with good airflow it shouldn't make a difference if the side is open it not

When the case is closed ,gpu temp difference is massive..massive.but cpu is not
Is there by any chance a risk of overheating and fire?

Apart from airflow,are the intel coolers so so bad...I mean its at stock speed
With case closed the idle temp is around 45C,max 52C

Max safe temp for your CPU is 100c, 72c is nothing to be concerned about.

Regarding fires, to ignite paper, you need to get things to about 450c.

Today,I played for approx. 5 mins and the temp reached 78°C!!!with cabinet's case closed.Sign of a bad cpu install...

At 32-34C room temp and you're complaining about getting 78C? Remember, most cooler reviews were done at 22C room temp! Hot weather = higher temp, common sense.

Rising.. just played for few more mins and now even with Open case,the temp is hitting 77C..you guys think its bad cpu install..

No I think that's normal for the stock cooler on that CPU. Throttle temp is 100c, as stated several times in this thread.

If you're personally uncomfortable with how it's running, feel free to buy a new cooler, but be aware that hitting ~80c is not going to make it run any slower or affect reliability or stability at all.

If anything, it could be bad cooler install - bad CPU install ends in comp not running. Or maybe it's just stock cooler not capable of working well enough in such high ambient temps.

Firstly,Thx guys for your replies.But even a 20$ cooler is costly here and I have nothing more to afford it.I have bought this i7 with my pocket money...man.And another thing even thermal paste are costly here and online stuff is not reliable.And most important thing is the PSU might be the culprit.The top mounted Corsair CS850M blows hot air on the cpu cooler

Why is the PSU blowing hot air on the CPU cooler? The PSU installed should face the fan outward to exhaust hot air out of the case, but regardless it shouldn't have anything to do with the CPU cooler at all.
