Problem with Realtek LAN controller

Have a P7P55D PRO MB which has a Realtek 8112L Gigabit Lan controller but it is only recognized as a 100 Mbps capacity. What can I do to get the 140 Mbps contracted with my ISP and do get in my other computers? Have updated drivers; have disabled the on board controller and installed a new D-Link Gigabit Ethernet PCI.Express Adapter, with same results: max download speed just 100 Mbps.
Please advise.

The only other thing I can recommend is to switch the cables around. Do you have ANY other cables, like CAT5e that we can test? Everything seems in order. Also doing a cold boot on the router can sometimes fix the issue. Make sure that the cables are surely snugged in the adapter.

You can also try to test in safe mode with networking.

Other than that, either your ISP is lying to you, or you NIC is needs to be replaced. Have you ran a speedtest at speedof.me ?

Both computers are connected directly to a Arris modem with CAT6 cable

Have tried the CAT5e cables, have cold booted the Arris modem several times, but no go.
As the second computer shows no problem and detects the 140 Mbpsm the ISP is not giving me the work around.
Thought it was the NIC so that'a why I disabled the on board card and replaced it with a PCI-E Gigabit D-link, with same results. Must be something else within the MB that I am overlooking...
