Just got a new pc set up but only thing left is a new graphics card.

Current setup:

-Mainboard: MSI Z97 Gaming5
-Procesor Intel Corei5 4690k 3,5Ghz
-Case: Corsair Carbit Air
-DDR3 HyperX Fury Cl10 2X8Gb
-ATX ANTEC True 650W 80Plus
-Hdd 500gb/7200rpm

Main game is csgo and looking to get 300+ fps on low settings.

Looking to spend between £200-£400, any help appreciated, thanks

Solution
You could get a good gtx 1070 but most likely at slightly higher price. Otherwise, rx 580 8 gb is best choice in that price range.

Not sure the retail price of the 1070 in UK, but that would probably be in the upper range of your budget. The 580/480 would do great and is within your budget. Geforce 1060 don't go for the 3GB version if you want a team Green card.

I suggest an RX 580 8gb, or a gtx 1070 if you want to spend more. Do you have a g-sync/freesync monitor? (I donțt think it is needed in your case) Also, Why do you want 300fps? Thre is no monitor that can output that much. Also, why settle on low settings? With a good gpu you can play at ultra and high fps.

I play csgo fairly competively. Higher fps results in smoother gameplay. Csgo isn't exactly a game built for high end and beautiful graphics.

I agree with you partly but still don't you get screen tearing at that fps? Also there is no point in turning some graphical settings down like textures (etc.) since those don't affect performance unless you exceed your gpu vram. Too have any benefit for such fps you would have to have the only 240hz Asus 1080 monitor on the market. But I guess CS:GO is the exception from what I've read.
