Mainly going to be using the PC for gaming as well making games mainly on unreal engine as I need it for uni and just a little bit of editing on the side.
Would prefer it to have a 1070 that supports 2 monitors and at least 16gb of ram with space to upgrade both the ram and add another graphics card in sli in the future.
Do not need a monitor included or the operating system.
Any help is much appreciated.
Around £1000 is good, could maybe stretch it depending on the specs

Here is an 8 core build with a 1060. Volta will by out by next year so really should be about the same to upgrade for double the performance.

That gives you your 1070, a CPU that's going to benefit you more in editing etc, SLI support from both the motherboard & PSU...

An Intel option, for comparison:

Only a 4core/8thread CPU, requires an aftermarket cooler and works out a little more expensive.
