is my graphic card too hot?

hi there, i just got a new gtx 1050 ti and i was testing it to see how hot it gets, and is getting about 70-79°C when i play, is it normal? what it the hottest tempereture it supports? do i need to cool it down?

That's not 'too high', although I can understand why you'd find it unsettling. You left out a lot of vital information though, including the make and model of the card. Also, how are the temps in your computer generally? Do you have good airflow, is the inside of your case clean, do you have your cables out of the way? The Nvidia specs show 97 as the max, so you're not even close. Still, I'd look to see if you can bring it down a bit by simply rearranging your case fans and cables first.
