I have Dell E1505 32bit laptop - my HD died and I have windows xp COA sticker on the case but no windows disc. I googled and looked around MS site without being able to locate a proper file.

Is there a site where I can d/l the windows xp copy so I can use my COA number and to install?

Solution
Yeah, ebay for a dell Win XP (Home or Pro depending on COA sticker) is the best option you are going to find.

FYI windows XP is going to be very very hard to even work.
Current antivirus software does not support it, browsers dont support it.
You are going to have to do a whole lot of leg work finding legacy software just to make it limp along and work. And it this point it is open to attacks that its like building a home with 8 ft wide gaps in the walls instead of a window. Does not matter how you secure the door when you have 10 points of entry so big you could drive a car through.

You can probably find windows xp iso on p2p networks.

But I'd suggest going different route.
If you can upgrade ram of the laptop to at least 2GB, then you can install windows 7 32bit on that laptop as well.
Intel Core Duo Processor T2500 will run windows 7 just fine. And it's gonna be much better choice than windows xp.

Try contacting Dell for recovery media. All other channels are "gray". If you go eBay route, make sure the CD you'll get is genuine Dell.
I've just retired my 1505 (currently with Windows 10), so I can confirm that Windows 7 is the best you can do about it. Again, getting legitimate Windows 7 is going to be a problem.
