Hello,

Built my third PC tonight and this one doesnt boot up, cant get to BIOS or anything, not getting any signals to monitor, everything works fine for couple seconds and then it turns off. I did some troubleshooting and I guess its something with RAM, since I am getting Beep codes when RAM isnt installed but Im getting nothing when RAM is installed. I'm kinda lost with this right now...

After it shuts down I have to unplug it and plug it back to get it to try to "boot" again.

Sorry for my shitty english, hope somebody can help me with this.

Aight, my PSU starts PC fine and then makes tiny "click" noise everytime pc shutsdown, does this mean anything or just coincidence? Its Corsair CS550M and it worked well with last setup yesterday. :s

Okay, I think it has to be problem with PSU, Atleast it makes sense for me, since it shuts down "randomly" in 0.5-5 seconds and I have to re-plug PSU to get it boot again, power button doesnt work at all after its shut down. I can shut down the PC with the button instantly tho.

At this point my money would be on the mobo before the CPU. Pop your CPU though and look very closely at all the pins in the socket to see if any look bent.

Elbert was spot on with memory first. The first thing prior to POST is typically the BIOS/board trying to clock your RAM. Its not uncommon to get that auto-reboot a few seconds after turning on for the first time with attached power. That said, if you got SUPER unlucky and your board, with its current BIOS version just doesn't like your RAM then this could cause this. If you can get your hands on a different DDR4 chip (maybe from a buddy or something) just to plug in and try its worth a shot.

Tried both of them with and without gpu, it was corsairs 650w one, and my own is 550w and works well with old system with same gpu (i5-2500k).

Aaaand there was no bent pins or anything like that, no visual damage at all, RAM is marked as suitable says the PC Store i bought it from.
