Just built a new PC, my ssd and hdd show up in bios but only my ssd shows up in windows. I go into disk management and only the ssd shows up

asus Z270f strix gaming motherboard
I've searched all the threads but everyone says reset bios? im not too sure how to do that.
I've changed the sata port twice - no change.
