Hey guys, i want to do an overhaul to my PC gaming peripheral. I want an RGB PC peripheral. And i've come to the conclusion that it's a choice between a Logitech setup or a corsair setup. The logitech setup consists of G810 Orion spectrum and G502 Proteus Spectrum. The Corsair setup consist of Corsair K70 RGB and Corsair M65 Pro RGB mouse. So what do you guys think? Should i go with the logitech or corsair setup? I need your suggestion

I like them both, from a technical stand point which one of these setup is the superior one? Like better lighting or durabillity and such. Thx for the response!

Well from my point of view, and this is probably an annoying answer (and i apologise). I'd go with the Corsair K70 for the keyboard due to the key build quality/layout, nice wrist rest attached, superior RGB tweaking software (in my opinion) and the design in general. But I've never really been one for Corsair mice, they lack a lot of features and build quality seems average. The G502 Proteus looks a lot better and more resilient and i do love the Logitech platform for customising the mouse buttons with shortcuts and game macros.

So if your happy to go Hybrid Corsair/Logtiech you could try pull that off? (Or am i just insane?) or i'd persoanlly just stick with the Corsair Mouse + KB only because for me, a better keyboard and not as good mouse > not as good Keyboad + better mouse. Hope this helps :)

I really wanted to go hybrid but not being able to sync the RGB make me unsatisfied. Only if there is a way to sync different brand RGB.....

I've been hearing that alot, is the software really that bad?

Nowadays it's just that the software sometimes fails to recognize either the keyboard or mouse after boot so i need to re plug in the thing it failed to recognize for the software to see it.

Though some time ago i did have to do a completely clean install on the software because it somehow corrupted itself so that it wouldn't even start. A normal reinstall didn't help, i had to remove every corsair related file from my pc before it would work again.

That seemed to be a pretty common problem with the software at the time https://www.reddit.com/r/Corsair/comments/3p7i0u/corsair_utility_engine_cue_wont_start_up/
