CPU Upgrade Question

I'm debating between upgrading to an fx 9590, 9370, or an 8370.
Specs:
Mobo: Asus m5a99x (heard it can run a 9590)
Cooler: Corsair h100i
GPU: Zotac 970 OC'd
PSU: 700 watt bronze

Im concerned if I can run a 9590 safely without bottleneck or lighting my PC on fire.

I currently run the same motherboard as you. Honestly, the price difference between the 9370 and 8370 doesn't make up for the performance difference. I run an 8350 and I still manage to play modern games at high settings. I would say get the 8370. It's more practical, cheaper, and produces quite a but less heat than the 9000 series. Good luck!

Alright thanks for your reply. I'm just going to limit my decision to the 9370 or the 8370. I can get the 9370 for the same price as the 8370, so price isnt too much of a factor.
