Hi,

I have built a new pc with all new parts purchased. It powers on, cpu fan spins, case fan spins, I hear the hard drive noise. Hard drive is blank, no os installed.
Nothing displays on the monitor.
I know the led wires are connected the correct way because as a test I connected it the wrong way and the pc did not turn on.
PC turns on when i changed the led wires round.
I have connected the cpu 4 pin atx12v from the psu to the motherboard by the cpu socket.
I have connected the cable from the psu to the graphics card.
I have pushed down the graphics card in case it has not seated properly.
2 ram sticks I have pushed down so it is seated properly.
I have tried the VGA port on the back panel of the motherboard, tried the hdmi port and I have tried the hdmi port on the graphics card. Still nothing showing on the monitor.
There is no beep sounds. It is silent.
I was thinking maybe the CPU is bad, my friend says the pc wouldn't turn on if the cpu was bad.
I don't know what else to try now. Need some help please. Thanks.

My components are:

  • Asus B150M-C D3 socket LGA1151 VGA DVI-D HDMI DisplayPort 7.1-Channel HD Audio uATX Motherboard</li>

    Intel Core i5 7500 / 3.4 GHz processor

Corsair CX 600W Fully Wired 80+ Bronze Power Supply

Antec A40 Pro Quad Heatpipe Intel/AMD CPU Cooler

    HyperX Savage 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) 1600 MHz DDR3 CL9 DIMM XMP Memory Module - Red

Zotac GeForce GTX 1060 1152 NVIDIA CUDA Cores Mini 3 GB GDDR5 Graphics Card - Black

Kolink Punisher W Midi Tower PC Case White

I have tried few more things with the bare minimum connectors connected.
I have disconnected the hard disk, removed the graphics card and removed all the ram.
Removed the usb 3 connector which plugs into the m/b.
Started the PC. Some beeps sounded which is good as it is telling me the ram is not there.
I put 1 ram stick in.
Connected hdmi cable to the m/b back panel hdmi port.
Still nothing on the screen.

I am thinking of putting all the cables back and the graphics card and take it to a shop to get it working.
