Question about case fan LED light going out

I noticed that one of the LED lights mounted on the case fan in front of my computer is going out. As far as I can tell the case fan is still running. For safety reasons, I just wanted to know if the LED light does burn out, do I need to be concerned about the fan itself going bad? Thanks in advance.

Solution
If that fan is a 3-pin fan being fed with reduced voltage to slow it down because your system needs only modest cooling, the LED may simply be getting such a low voltage it cannot light up. Most fans of this type with an LED in them will show reduced LED brightness as the fan slows down, and you may just be seeing the limits of really slow fan and REALLY dim LED. If that's your situation, there is no real problem.

But if that's not it, maybe LED part is faulty. But that does not imply that the fan has a flaw.
