APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: June 2017

BUDGET RANGE: $100 or lower (Or in currency of my country, 450 MYR)

USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Mainly for watching HD videos. Some photo editing on Photoshop. I play games casually but they are mostly some old games and Strategy genre. Not required to play games at 1080@60fps ultra settings.

OTHER RELEVANT SYSTEM SPECS:

Parts I'm hoping to get include:

Intel Pentium G4560
Gigabyte B250N Phoenix (Mini-ITX)
G.Skill AEGIS 8GB DDR4 2400MHz
Samsung EVO 850 250GB SSD
Corsair CX450M PSU
External Blu Ray Drive
AOC IPS LED Monitor, either 21.5" or 23"

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: Lelong.my

OVERCLOCKING: No

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: No

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1920x1080

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I want something as cheap as possible, as long as it is able to play HD videos smoothly and sufficient for some light photo editing. Getting an old card will buy less performance per dollar, but I just want to make sure which card can handle my requirements. GTX 1050 seems to have high CP ratio but I don't feel like spending that much. I rather spend that money on a larger monitor.

Thanks for any help.

" I want something as cheap as possible"

I'm no expert but ... aren't the onboard graphics of that motherboard sufficient to do all you want. Hdmi to your monitor and you are good. when it comes to 'cheap as possible', it's hard to beat free!

Dear robert600, thank you for your reply. I always thought that Intel's onboard graphics are doing terrible. But it seems that it is enough for my requirement. I will do more research on this. Thanks again!
