Intel Optane/RST Question

I have a 200 series motherboard but already use a solid state drive for the OS and most games. I am interested in whether or not I could buy an optane module for use with intel rapid storage technology across multiple drives.

Let's say I started installing games on a separate mechanical hard drive. Could I use optane with RST to noticeably decrease game launch times?

Thank you.

It has no useful gain for SSDs anyway. This has already been tested i suggest you look it up online for benchmarks. On HDDs however it shows incredible gains with games loading, application loading and booting up in general (although it's not your boot drive this isn't as applicable). So i would personally only bother adding a Optane drive if you actually store plenty of apps and games on your mechanical drive that will benefit from Optane.
