CPU damaged after coke spill accident

Hi everyone, I have a huge problem. Coke and whiskey was spilled on my desk which slowly dripped onto my top of my computer (and inside through the holes for fans..) and the PC shut off.

My specs:

  • Mobo: MSI Z97P-D3
    CPU : Intel i5 4590
RAM : 2x Corsair Vengeance Blue 1600 MHz
    GPU: GTX 970
PSU : 550W Cooler Master GM

I dried the parts, cleaned the motherboard with 95% spirit and the pc would only turn on for a second and turn off. (Motherboard speaker gave me nothing).
So after breadboarding for couple of days and switching all the parts (and buying a new motherboard...) I realized that RAM, PSU and mobo are working fine, but the CPU is not, CPU is the issue.
Now, I'm wondering, since these things are crazy expensive, is there any way that I can try and fix the CPU?

I went through the whole guide http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/261145-31-perform-steps-posting-post-boot-video-problems and concluded that my CPU doesn't work on my brother's PC, and his CPU works on my rig.

Is there anything I can do to save my CPU ?
Thanks

Heatspreader on top shouldn't matter if its just some compound residue here and there. The contact pads on bottom need to be free of thermal compound or other contaminants. Its worth a shot, but its unlikely to help in your situation. If the mixed drink got to the CPU socket, most likely the motherboard would be shot.
What does bottom pads of CPU look like? CPUs are somewhat "sealed" in a way, and you confirmed board is working. I had a thermal compound mess on a P4 awhile back, and simply soaked the CPU is 70% alcohol for a bit, then cleaned and dried. Still working fine today.

I have pictures, but the top part of the cpu is kinda covered with the thermal paste in some places I couldn't clean it out, maybe I should sink it in strong alcohol too, won't hurt to try. Thank you for the hint.
