i have a newly built ryzen 7 with a gigabyte b350 gaming 3 mobo. i had some issues with the bios update (F6 revision) and managed to roll back to F5 (default). Now everytime i power off and remove the power cord and reswitch the computer back on i find a bios reset. As long as the power cord is connected even if the computer is switched off everything seems to be fine. Once the cable is removed bios resets.
I thought it might be the batteries or the clr_cmos pin i made sure nothing is making a short circuit and what i noticed that only the settings resets, date and time remains unchanged.

Something else worth saying, when i press the power on button the ryzen and mobo leds should start immediately and monitor starts taking signal as they used to be, that doesnt happen in my case....it takes them both around 15 to 15 second to respond....however the ryzen fan and case fan starts to spin, just no LED nor signal to the monitor.

Also worth mentioning during my roll back to F5 revision it hanged there at 20% and pc completely froze and had to force power off by pulling the power cord off.

AMD Ryzen 1700 3.00ghz stock
Gigabyte b350 gaming 3
evga gtx 1060 3gb sc
seagate 320gb hdd boot (GPT)
wd 1tb blue (MBR)

Reflash the bios, im surprised your board is still alive after pulling power whilst flashing, thankfully for you, you chose the right board as it has dual bios, ive also noticed F6 is a different file size to the rest, you probably cant back flash after flashing F6

Dont use windows based flashing tools unless you want to completely kill your board, use Q-Flash in the bios itself to flash.

replace the CMOS battery, its probably dead and not holding bios settings.
