Hello, i just ordered 16gb ram 3000mhz, because 8gb just wasn't enough for me. The ram that i ordered was the same speed and same manifacturer.

Here is the ram that i bought: http://

And here is the ram that i already have: http://

So, my question is: Can i mix these two and get a total of 24gb ram? Would that work, or would i get some compatability issues?

Thanks in advance for answers :)

Hi DankDuck :)

There is a good chance they will work if your MB has the RAM slots. As you have ordered them then give it a go, nothing to loose. There can be discrepancies during manufacture in latency and that's why RAM modules are binned at the factory to ensure compliance.
If you have issues then just use the 16GB and keep the others for spares, or you can try Tweaking your Bios DRAM Timings and voltage.

Ok, thank you very much. But there is no chance that any of the ram sticks can be damaged by doing this, right?
