Changing Basic disk to Dynamic disk?

When I upgraded my OS drive from an HDD to an SSD, I backed up my old windows partition to a seccondary partition on my storage drive, called Windows_Old. My configuration was "C: Windows ; D: Data ; E: Windows_Old". I was running that setup for a while untill I decided I no longer need this partition and instead wanted to allocate its space to my Data drive. So I formatted the Windows_Old partition and deleted it, so now I have an extra 150gb. But when I want to expand my Data drive with that extra 150gb, windows is asking me to convert it to a Dynamic disk. Should I convert it?

TL:DR: Removed old partition, want to add extra 150gb to another partition, windows is asking me to convert the basic disk to a dynamic disk. Should I do it?

Solution
OK

For those partitions in that config, you need to use a 3rd party partition management application.

If the unused 150GB were to the right of the main D partition, you could 'extend' into that 150GB space, directly in Disk Management.

As it is to the left...Disk Management can't handle it.
EaseUS Partition Master can probably do this:

Sharing space across physical drives must be with a Dynamic Disk.

But I strongly urge you do find some other solution. That becomes far more of a PITA than a real solution.

So...what physical drives do you have in this system, how large, what is on each?
Details and screencaps, please.

I have a Samsung 850pro 256gb as my Windows drive, and I have a Seagate Desktop HDD ST2000DM001 2TB as my data drive (Contains the D partition as well as the Windows_Old partition)

Im not trying to take storage from the SSD and add it to the HDD, just adding unused HDD storage into another HDD partition.

Would I end up with any data loss using this method? I'm going to make a backup regardless, but it would be nice to not restore my data...

Probably no data loss.
Probably.

As with any partition moving around...always have a backup of that data before starting.
Always.

If you have the space space elsewhere, simply copy the contents of the D drive off to that.
Merge, manage, delete as needed.
Then copy that data back, and ensure that it is still the D drive.
