So I recently bought a new PC.
My expectations were not that high, because according to youtube videos, benchmarks and other sources in general, the performance in gaming I should have with these components was much worse than what I actually have.
Specs:
MSI B350 Tomahawks
Ryzen R5 1600
Gigabyte GTX 1060 Windforce X2 6GB
Gskill flare-x 3200mhz 16GB
EVGA 650W power supply
The thing is that I've been told that I would get about 70fps at max in GTA V with medium- high settings.
I heavily modded GTA V, got the redux mod as well, re shaders and everything, and in downtown fighting cops, I get about 80 FPS and does not go below 71.
In Rise of the tomb raider it's the same story. I get about 80 fps on the highest settings.(Pure hair turned on but not on high)
Not trying to show off or anything, I know you guys have far better computers than I do,
I'm just curious why this big difference between what I experienced and what other people have.
