So i just bought my pc a few days ago and when i try to play a game after an hour my computer freezes with multi colored squares, i thought it might be the PSU, but now i left my computer running just on the google search page and went to make lunch, when i came back the computer was frozen in a light green color.

My parts:

Ryzen 5 1400, Stock Cooler,
MSI B350M Mortar Artic,
RX 570 Gaming x 4GB,
2x4GB 2400 ram CL16,
Corsair CX430W,
Windows 10 Home 64,
1 rear fan, 2 front fans.

Please help.

The CPU and motherboard also are brand new. You described a GPU issue; therefore that should be the first component to replace. It could also be the motherboard, but it rarely causes the GPU to display multi colored squares, etc. Another possibility is the PSU that isn't the best for your system, but it shouldn't cause an issue when the system is almost idle.

Thank you for the reply, the gpu is brand new and the temps stay below 59°c is it really possible that it came faulty?
