So I bought a new gigabyte gt 730 2gb gddr5 and while I know that its not that good its still better than what I used to have. The problem I got is that since I installed it the pc in general has been going slow, games lock up every step I take (eg. WoW), and its really frustrating. I looked in the task manager and I noticed memory usage is pretty high without any program running at all and whenever I try to open anything the disk usage goes 100% and stays like that for some short amount of time. I looked in the resource monitor and its usually some bullshit svchost.exe using memory which I believe is for updates and stuff. I tried deleting drivers numerous times and reinstalling (older ones, latest ones etc), scanned pc numerous times with multiple antiviruses even went as far as to completely reinstall windows numerous times with no success. Hell, before the new gpu, I even was aware that I was infected with adware and still everything ran good. Now I dont know whats going on, I really hope its not a faulty gpu because I got it right from the package about a week ago and I dont know if I can still return it.
Anyone have any idea?
