Zotac 1060 Fan Replacement

I'm looking for a replacement fan for my Zotac 1060 mini. Can anyone point me in the direction I should start looking for this part? I should mention that I'm looking to just replace the existing fan, and not replace the existing cooling solution.

The fan died (doesn't spin freely, was making a horrible noise) I've since contacted Zotac and will be sending it to them for repair/replace.

i thought you just want to replace them. if the thing was broken you should RMA it. (and i'm sure all 1060 that available right now still have it's warranty since the card are not even one year old on the market).

I did want to replace the fan, since it just seemed easier than the RMA process (this card is a replacement card for a 970 I had to RMA). I gave up on that after I really couldn't find the fan, or anything that would work.

From what I have read, the Zotac mini fan isn't designed to come off, so you probably aren't going to find a direct replacement. I do believe it is a 90mm fan though if you wanted to try and make it happen, but be warned, you are likely to completely void your warranty when you attempt it. Where did you buy it? If you bought it through some place like Amazon, you can often do the exchange through them and be faster than through Zotac directly.

I had the same problem, fan does come off, remove all the screws, unplug it and add w-40 oil deep in the bearings.

I am also starting to look for a fan replacement though. No RMA.
