Why is my cpu fan spinning up without high temps?

I have been using my new custom built computer for about a month now. The cpu temp has been very stable at max 156 degrees F while gaming. I monitor it with Afterburner. Yesterday my max temp reading was 160 F and now today it is reading 162 F. My Q fan setting in Asus bios has been set at normal. Now today I keep hearing the fan spinning up to what sounds like 100% just from opening an internet page. I set Q fan to manual and it shouldn't spin up to 100% until 175 F. My temps fluctuate around 100 to 120 F while surfing the web. What would be the possible causes of this?

Asus Maximus IX Code
I7 7700K no overclock
212 Evo cpu cooler
GTX 1080 Ti gpu
Corsair Vengeance ram 32GB
850W psu
Corsair 780T case

I think the problem was with Asus AI Suite. I clicked on the fan setting but never changed or enabled anything. I guess just clicking on it enabled it somehow. It had a very aggressive fan curve that was bumping up the fan speed drastically right around the 120 degree range. I guess AI suite overrides the Qfan setting in bios. I set the fan curve in AI suite to the same as Qfan and it is behaving normally now. Thanks.
