Is there any huge difference in these boards besides SLI? I'm looking at the 1600x and a 1070 w/ a little OC (not a lot). And I'll probably put two SATA ssd in th build

in gaming there is virtually no difference. for overclocking there can be a bit more settings you can tweak for example some B350 motherboards only let you change the CPU voltage offset and not the Vcore itself. but most of the time, the final OC you can get out of a x370 and B350 motherboard is very similar unless you go LN2. i suggest you buy a good B350 motherboard.

Most of the B350's aren't lacking features, such as M.2 for fast SSDs. The only real difference, as you stated, is SLI. Make sure you look for a board with heatsinks on the VRMs (the little canister looking things to the top and to the left of the CPU) if you are planning overclocking at all (which you said you were). I would also look up individual boards, but the deal I'm seeing currently is the MSI B350 PC MATE for $85.
