Radeon HD 7950 vs GTX 1050 ti

I can either get a Radeon HD 7950 for $50 and now, or wait a month or two to save up for a GTX 1050 ti For $165. Which do i go for

im not saying that the GTX 1050Ti is a bad card, the RX 570 simply performs better in DX12 and Vulkan titles.

I have the hd 7950 and the cheapskate in me says get the 7950.

Unless you take the RX570, the only other reason to get the 1050Ti is it's lower TDP, 75W compared to the 7950's 200W.

The RX 570 is about $15 cheaper on the cheapest option and has 1 more GB of VRAM.

Their performance is pretty much identical, and while that extra 1GB of VRAM might be useful in a few years time, if @OP is playing games like WoW which are heavily optimized for Nvidia and perform like crap on AMD, it is a heavy consideration to make.

Whatever you do, DON'T use GPU boss as a reference, they're extremely inaccurate and false 80% of the time.
The userbenchmark comparison is more accurate.
