Sudden fps drop

Hello, ive had my new gaming computer for a few months now and everything has been fine, now im getting frame drop issues on all my games, i dont know too much about gaming computers but i know this isnt right! I took it to a computer shop to see if they could help me out and they cleaned it up, updated drivers etc and told me that it should be fine now but nothing has changed.

My rig is

Intel i7 processor
Gtx 1060 6gb
8gb ram
1tb memory
500gb ssd

its been with games such as Arma 3, dead by daylight and total war etc.
i tried to download msi afterburner but everytime i tried to install it but it keeps trying to open it through explorer and wont do anything. not having much luck here lol
