Ok so got Z170-E Intel Z170 (Socket 1151) DDR4 ATX Motherboard and it says it has
1 x SATA Express port, , Compatible with 2 x SATA 6.0 Gb/s ports
1 x M.2 x4 Socket 3, with M Key, type 2242/2260/2280/22110 storage devices support (both SATA & PCIE mode)
6 x SATA 6Gb/s port(s), gray
Support Raid 0, 1, 5, 10

just wanna know if its the sata 6gb ports that im plugging my ssd drive in before i buy it. Got a hdd in there atm that i still wanna keep in there. so basically just checking that my motherboad will allow both my hdd and a sdd.

Solution
If you are asking if you can plug up a SSD to your SATA port on your motherboard, then yes. Also make sure your PSU cables will allow for multiple SATA devices (most do as it's 3-4 on one cable).
