Should i change my cpu?

so i have a long question:
i have this setup: amd fx 6300 @4.2ghz; nvidia gtx 1060 6gb; 16gb ddr3.
many people will tell me that the gpu is bottlenecked by the cpu, however overclocking it to 4.2 ghz (air cooling - 212x) actually made the combo a good working one, with the gpu always being at its max and the cpu almost always lower than 90%.
i would like to change the cpu though (even if i bought it june of last year) and change it to some of the newer ryzen cpus or even intel ones (depending on the cost).
my question is: should i get ddr4 ram + new motherboard and cpu ryzen or intel (which would cost me around 400€ i think) OR should i buy any cpu that can support ddr3 ram (like the 4690k/non-k from intel, which would cost me around 300€ as i already have the motherboard)?

Edit: Yes, i know i'll have to change the motherboard, thats what im actually looking for.
i think i will better off waiting for new hardware to come out so that the actual hardware will come down in price and get a ddr4 compatible motherboard, while also selling out the cpu, motherboard and ram i already have.
btw i live in italy

Edit #2: i dont have the motherboard for any intel socket (i only have fm2 and am3+ ones), but i am considering buying one in the future (like fall 2017) and this is what i was thinking if the hardware still performed well and would have come down in price:
Intel core i5 6500 (or 7500, depending on the cost i will find)
MSI H110M Pro-VD
G.SKILL 8GB ram @2133 Mhz [2x4]

Solution
No matter what you do you'll need a new motherboard ,your an3+ board only supports fx series amd CPU's.
The ram will only carry over to an Intel haswell build which is essentially already a dead socket.
For that reason I wouldn't even consider it.

AM3+ Motherboard only supports FX series and maybe the older Phenom II series (or other AM3 or AM3+ socket) CPUs. You will need to replace it with ANY CPU upgrade that isn't one of those.

DDR3 based motherboards are pretty much End Of Lined... the only possible exception is there were some boards that were part of the 1x0 chipset (Skylake era) that could support DDR3 RAM, in particular DDR-3L (low-voltage DDR3 like G.Skill ECO series.) It isn't recommended to use the higher voltage DDR-3 RAM with them, plus if you go straight to Kaby-Lake (Intel's newest) a BIOS upgrade will be required. whether or not the board is manufactured late enough to have the upgrade or you have to do it yourself (or RMA it to the manufacturer to get it done) is also something else to think about. Skylake, Kaby-Lake, and Ryzen were really meant for DDR-4 though.

You're better off spending the 400€ and get something more likely to work straight out of the box.

Where are you located (in General... Country/Nation is usually good enough) as it can help us look for you too.

If you're looking at replacing the motherboard+cpu, it isn't really that much more to replace the ram to DDR4 as well; at least from a future proofing aspect since as others have said Haswell and AM3+ are dead sockets.

Now when you mention you already have the motherboard for the 4690, are you referring to the one your fx 6300 is using? If so, they are incompatible sockets (1150 vs AM3+) and would require a different motherboard regardless to switch. If you already have a socket 1150 board lying around, that 'might' be a considerable option if you can find a really great deal on a used 4690 CPU. But again, it is an essentially dead socket.
