Just wondering what ram would be supported and that will work properly with am4 i found a pair of 2x8 gb sticks that were on the supported ram list on the motherboard page but i saw a post about someone saying he had issues with that spesific ram saying it wouldnt work at the right speeds, so im just wondering if these sticks will work now as the post was fairly old and several BIOS updates have been released since. https://www.multicom.no/corsair-memory-d4-3200-16gb/cat-p/c/p8193705 these are the ram sticks.

3200mhz works the best, if for now you cant get it to run at 3200mhz, it will still do 2933mhz for now, and to guarantee its going to work at top speed or close to top speed, get something with Samsung B-Die chips, G.skill...

A lot depends on the exact ram model, the exact motherboard, the CPU, the BIOS revision.

Then check the RAM compatibility report on the motherboards support website. Compare the exact model number, and the max supported speed they managed to get functioning properly. That will give you your best shot and hitting the best speeds.

As it sits, most mobos are running pretty consistently at 2600ish mhz with the latest AGESA 1.004 update. There's supposed to be a new microcode update though coming soon which might improve that.

The CL15 and CL16 versions of those ram come with either Samsung E-Die chips or Hynix chips.
