I recently upgraded my motherboard from a Gigabyte Z170X Gaming 5 to a Gigabyte Z270X Ultra Gaming. I also upgraded my CPU from an Intel i5 6600k to an Intel i7 7700k.
Since the upgrade, my CPU fan has been running more than 3 times louder than it was before. Both my new CPU and old one run at 91 watts so that's probably not the issue. The fan I am using is the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO. Thanks in advance.
