I have a modern power supply and I need to use it with a Dell Optiplex 9010 SFF but it has some kind of 5 pin connector and I cant find a manual on where to plug in where.
Power supply is a thermaltake tr2 700watt

You probably can't.
Those Dell SFF systems used a proprietary PSU and motherboard. Not compatible with a standard ATX PSU.

And to ward off your next question...there is no 'adapter' for this.

Is there a way to find out which pins turn it off/on?

What...the PSU or the motherboard?
If you're thinking of creating your own hacked up adapter, don't.

improvising but not modding anything
edit my work station gpu does not work with it because the 24pin motherboard connector is to big for it.

Trying to rebuild a Dell SFF system to be something 'better' is a losing proposition.

I'm not sure what you're wanting us to say, beyond: "The Dell SFF system you have is not compatible with standard ATX parts."
