Recommend me a good budget friendly CPU to go alongside an RX 460 (for LGA 1155 Socket)

Title says it all :)

Here are my specs:

Intel Core i3 3240 3,4Ghz
AMD RX 460 OC 2gb
LC-Power 450W PSU
Gigabyte ga p61-s3 motherboard
Windows 10

I need something that wont bottleneck the graphics card and also i render allot in Sony Vegas so keep that in mind. (Im a CPU noob)

Solution
OP is right. A 3rd gen i3 is simply not enough to hit 60fps in most modern AAA games. It doesn't matter what video card you have, you still need the same amount of CPU power to hit a certain framerate.

@OP, since you're in Serbia, and most on this forum are North American, with some Western Europeans, we can't very well advise you on what's available in your country at what price. However, Intel has 3 basic CPU categories for any mainstream socket - Core i3 (2 core, 4 thread), Core i5 (4 core, 4 thread) and Core i7 (4 core, 8 thread). For a long time an i5 was adequate for 60fps gaming, but recently an i7 has started to become necessary. Something like an i5 3570 would be an improvement over what you have, but you'd still see benefit...

Trust me, it bottlenecks, at least the one i have

Are you sure? you can install MSI afterburner and see if your gpu or cpu is running 100%.

What games do you play?

My CPU usage is near 100% most of the time while my GPU usage is always 100% or near it. I have afterburner and i get this results in almost every game. Some games like GTA 5 stay at 35-40fps (with major dips in GTA) on every setting, low/medium/high, others like The Witcher 3 which is more GPU intensive stay stable and dont dip bellow 30 even on max settings.

actually he is not, as he responded his gpu is also running at 100%, so this means the i3 is fast enough to support this gpu. And I never said anything about 60fps.

An i5 will not give him higher average fps, what it will do is higher minimum fps, like he responded he got dips in gta, this is probably due to the i3, but an i5 wont give him higher fps since his gpu is already at 100%.

Nonetheless is the i5 a good upgrade for overal performance of his pc and 3th gen i5's are found for decent prices. :)

To me, that's a very confusing way of looking at things.

-If your CPU is at 100%, having a faster CPU would allow both higher averages and higher minimums.

-If your GPU is at 100%, more CPU speed will not increase framerates until you lower graphical settings.

Having both at 100% may be optimal from the perspective that both components are limiting framerates equally at current graphical settings, but that doesn't mean games will be smooth. If your CPU is preventing you from playing games smoothly, a faster CPU will help.
