Computer not detecting wireless networks

My hp laptop asked me to refresh it's windows yesterday which I did,but afterwards I can't even detect any wireless networks connections agand and have tried updating d drivers and all its said it is updated..pls help

Did you download and install the network adapter drivers via Windows/Microsoft or via the network adapter's manufacturer.

Any specific error messages or pop-up Window messages?

The first thing to do is to right click the wireless network icon (probably lower right screen corner) and run the troubleshooter. See if the troubleshooter finds and fixes anything.

The second thing to do is to go into the wireless adapter's configuration settings and verify that that they are still configured as necessary for your wireless network. The update may have reverted some setting back to an incompatible default setting.
