VGA works but DVI and HDMI doesn't.

Many monitors require you to select which input you're going to use - they don't auto-detect, or it can be disabled.

Yes it has both and I have set it to HDMI but still ...i connect vga and it works..then I unplug it and connect the HDMI and it doesnt ..it says "Check Video Cable". (I got this monitor for a PC im building and im trying it on my packard bell laptop. The GPU i will use for the pc im building will be an RX 460 from gygabite.)
