ok so i was thinking of building a pc and im fairly new to this sort of stuff and i was wondering

could i get a 750w psu with a pentium 4560 with a gtx 1050 not a 1050 ti and also get a very good motherboard and 16 gigs of ddr4 ram and then in 4-6 months upgrade it with a gtx 1080 and a i7 7700k would this be possible and how would this change performance, would it be much louder would i need a very good type of cooling while using the gtx 1050

and again please dont call me an idiot im new to this sort of stuff, btw here is the psu in case you where wondering im not sure if its bad or not i think it may be bad but im not sure https://www.scorptec.com.au/product/Power-Supplies/ATX/57048-220-G2-0750-XR
thanks i advance for replying

Solution
the prices are AUD$, as for upgrading curve the motherboard can handle a K processor later yes but would not permit overclocking, if that is your goal than a Z270 board would be needed at the get go with the 7500 then upgrade later then overclock it. and yes you can upgrade to a 1080 later without a problem

below is the choice if you intend to go with a 7700K later and overclocking.

Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel - Core i5-7500 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($268.00 @ Shopping Express)
Motherboard: Asus - PRIME Z270-AR ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($238.00 @ Shopping Express)...
well I will start asking in what country your located, as hardware can vary a lot in price depending where your from
discovered looking at your link your in Australia !

1. 4560/motherboard uses DDR3 not DDR4

2. a 4560 with a H75 or Z87 board, ram and a 1050 with a 750w power supply is a good combinaison. I runa 4970K, Z97, 32GB Ram, and GTX 970 on a 750w and its fine...

3. for the cost of what your asking about... the 4th gen hardware your suggesting to get would be a fine machine, without problems to game with, just need more information , but for the about the same price (unless you getting good deal) buy new

do you have the 4560 motherboard and ram, lined up ? prices??

here is what I am suggesting based on the information you provided so far.

750w is plenty, the system will only consume about half that power, with tons of headspace for overclocking
