Im looking at the ekwb website and the EK-XRES 100 Revo D5 pump res combo looks great but I was looking for a larger reservoir. I know they have a 140 but I was thinking more of a 250 type deal. They have the EK-RES X3 250 Lite which looks perfect to me, but can I just unscrew the res on the EK-XRES 100, and pop on the 250? Or would I have to get the EK-RES X3 250? Or if I want a 250 res am I just going to have to have it be separate from the pump?
Sorry this question is all over the place, but I would appreciate any and all input :)
Thanks for your time.

Solution
The XRES 100 Revo uses a pipe in the center of the reservoir to connect the top and bottom caps. The RES X3 series uses threaded Plexiglas to connect the top and bottom caps. You cannot use the Plexiglas housing of the X3 with any of the XRES components.

If you want a 250 res, you have to have a separate pump or look at other brands.

UPDATE: Correction, the glass version uses the center tube for the connection. You could replace the reservoir tube on the Acetal version with the tube from the X3 250 reservoir.
