My cousin wants to upgrade her pc. We already added a better PSU before
GPU will come later this year.
Now she wants to focus on CPU, RAM, Mobo first. Well, basically she just gives me money, and lets me do whatever I want, if justified.
The parts I had in mind.
Ryzen 5 1600 boxed, with wraith spire cooler
Asrock Fatal1ty Gaming K4 AB350
Corsair Vengeance LPX CMK16GX4M2A2666C16
This seems like a fair build for her. She doesn't do heavy tasks, only streams once in a while, while playing, and using a voice client, skype, discord, a browser, ...
I made sure that the memory was supported by the motherboard's compatibility list.
I am not sure about the motherboard however. Would there be a better choise?
The B350 series should be fine, as she will not run sli, nor overclock.
Everything we can save, is faster spend to the GPU.
PSU has been replaced before, together with a better case + cable management + fans + fan controller.
(PSU; seasonic-x 750w) which should do the job just fine.
GPU doesn't matter yet.
